Does anyone have any tips on how to open a Ninja Force/Street Fighter II/Mortal Kombat figure torso? I need to replace the O-Ring on my Ninja Force Storm Shadow, and I'd like to remove the head from a Street Fighter Sagat with out doing too much damage to the body. Any tips would help. Thanks.

You have to use a razor blade. On Storm Shadow, for example, start the razor blade in the seams of the tabs on the bottom of the torso. Continue cutting through the seams and the torso will eventually pop open with enough pressure.

I've found the medium size blades to work best, as the smaller won't allow you a lot of force. I wouldn't go up to a box cutter size though :-)

Thanks, Matthew. I was able to get my Sagat figure open last night by just simply applying a little pressure with a pair of pliers. I guess the pressure just cracked the seal made my the glue used at the factory, 'cause the sucker just poped right open, and left no damage to the body. If this method won't work on Storm Shadow, then I'll go with the razor. Thanks again for the advice! This is what this group is all about.
